Anti-bullying Lunchtime Program
GRADES 3 – 8
Lunchtime often can be a challenging period for students who may encounter or inflict bullying. To combat this, mentors work with students on fun, healthy activities that promote teamwork, communication and cooperation. This program also ties in nicely with the state Department of Education’s Health and Wellness initiative.
KAMP Hawai‘i mentors visit participating schools one to four times a month for 1-hour to 2-hour sessions.
After each session, students are asked to reflect on their experience as it relates to their health goals and life skills.
