Our Programs

KAMP (Kids At Risk Mentoring Program) Hawai‘i works with youth in one of six mentoring programs: Anti-bullying Lunchtime Program, Classroom Outreach Program, Special Needs Classroom Outreach Program, Alternative Learning Center Outreach Program, and Outdoor Outreach Program and Summer “Pride and Victory” Healthy Lifestyle Enrichment Program. Through hands-on activities led by KAMP Hawai‘i staff and volunteer high school students, participants improve social interaction skills, control emotional behavior, gain self-confidence and independence, demonstrate a positive attitude towards others and themselves, and much more. Using curriculum tailored to the needs of Hawai‘i’s youth, KAMP Hawai‘i instills within its participants ethics, knowledge and an understanding of others to guide them in life.
